The East West Women’s Centre was built in partnership with UNDP India, provides a safe space for women to express themselves and building confidence and self-esteem through learning new skills.
The VSeEC started in 2008, and is a multifunctional electronic centre, providing free computer education and access to vital technical, educational and employment information online through our Village Knowledge Centre for surrounding communities. Children from our East West Home use our centre weeknights and daytime on weekends. Community children, youth and adolescent girls are able to utilise the centre weeknights and weekends. Basic computer and ICT literacy education is provided, along with short courses for accounting, desktop publishing and advanced computer education.
